This<\/strong> journal does not charge submission or APC (article procession)\u00a0fees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Without charge<\/span>
\n<\/strong>All content is freely available without charge to the user or his\/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.<\/p>\n

The Mission
\n<\/strong><\/span>The <\/strong>journal promotes all practical, rational, and progressive aspects of nanomedicine <\/em><\/b>including theory and practice. Authors are invited to send submissions in basic science, translational, preclinical, and clinical research.<\/p>\n

PRNANO accepts\u00a0original manuscripts<\/em><\/b>, <\/em>as well as<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>replication studies<\/em><\/b>\u00a0<\/em>and discussions of\u00a0<\/em>negative results<\/em><\/b>\u00a0as long <\/em>as they are clearly marked as such and move the field forward.<\/p>\n

Support<\/span>
\n<\/strong>We support authors who wish to share their work early through deposition of manuscripts with preprint servers such as bioRxiv or arXiv, have previously been presented at conferences, published as a thesis or have previously appeared in other \u201cnon-journal\u201d venues (for example: blogs or posters).<\/p>\n

Aim and scope
\n<\/strong><\/span>The journal exists to provide a good quality and supportive publishing forum with quick turnaround time for nanomedicine researchers and provides a cutting-edge and reliable source of information to societies, for libraries, and to the interested public without additional cost.<\/p>\n

Online only
\n<\/strong><\/span>PRNANO is online only. Articles are published continuously on a rolling basis, then organized into quarterly issues (January, April, July, and October) and annual volumes. All articles receive a unique identifier (DOI:10.33218 \/ prnano) and are archived both in\u00a0Portico<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Crossref<\/a>, for preservation.\u00a0We are members of\u00a0COPE<\/a>\u00a0and our\u00a0green archiving policy is\u00a0registered in\u00a0Sherpa\/Romeo<\/a>,\u00a0i.e., pre-print and post-print PDFs, as well as publisher\u2019s versions can be archived, without restrictions.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> We are signatories of the\u00a0San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment<\/em><\/a>. We advise against the use of journal-based metrics, such as Journal Impact Factors, as a surrogate measure of the quality of individual research articles, to assess an individual scientist\u2019s contributions, or in hiring, promotion, or funding decisions.
